A New View of a Woman's Body" caused a sensation in the USA as well as in German-speaking countries in the 1970s. The illustrations of the female body contained here showed largely unknown details for the first time and enriched conventional medical knowledge with alternative insights. In the present version, this groundbreaking presentation of the female sexual complex has been supplemented by the fact that methods of self-examination are now also explained and health issues typical of women form a separate topic.
